Spelling, Grammar and Formatting Correction in Legislation Act 2017

An act to allow for grammar, punctuation and formatting errors in proposals to be corrected by other members of the Central Committee.​

Now, therefore, BE IT ENACTED by the order of the glorious Constitution of this People's Republic, by and with the advice and consent of the democratically elected representatives of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party, in holding the public mandate, in this present committee assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows-

ARTICLE I - Short Title​

(1) This act may be cited as the “Correction in Legislation Act 2017”.

ARTICLE II - Definitions​

(2) “Principal Act” shall refer to the current bill here presented.

(3) "Proxy" shall refer to someone appointed to make descisions during afformentioned persons absense.

ARTICLE III - Provisions​

(4) All proposed acts by the Central Committee shall be open for other Central Committee members to edit, in order to correct spelling, grammar, punctuation and formatting errors.

(5) The edits made cannot change the action of the bill unless done so by the original author, and the bill must be put into a spoiler in it's pre-editted form, following the example below:

Now, therefore, BE IT ENACTED by the order of the glorious Constitution of this People's Republic, by and with the advice and consent of the democratically elected representatives of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party, in holding the public mandate, in this present committee assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows-

ARTICLE I
Short Title​
(1) This act may be cited as the “Example Act 2016”.

ARTICLE II
Definitions​
(2) “Example” shall be defined as a thing characteristic of its kind or illustrating a general rule.

(3) “Principal Act” shall refer to the current bill here presented.

ARTICLE III
Provisions​
(4) All future bills shall have to follow the example of the principal act.

ARTICLE IV
Schedule​
(5) The principal act shall come into force immediately upon passage of the Central Committee with the signature of the General Secretary.

(6) All changes must be announced on any threads relating to the bill. Failure to do so will revert the bill to it's last acknowledged and announced change.

(7) The author will have final say over an act if they are active. Where not active, two members of the Central Committee must object to changes, at which point it will go to a vote.

ARTICLE IV - Schedule​

(8) The principal act shall come into force immediately upon passage of the Central Committee with the signature of the General Secretary.
